THE SUN AND THE MOON
Once upon a cosmic madness
In a realm that keeps on ceasing
Setting Sun was filled with sadness,
To the Moon he wasn't pleasing...
She was queen of her domain
Glowing lunar, warm and witty
Future had to be explained
Or she would not sit there pretty...
What formula it embodies
Number five, or number seven?
For the two heavenly bodies
At long last to find a heaven...
You are guilty of not knowing
And your sentence is rejection
Her pronouncement kept echoing
As she severed the connection...
Sun went rambling through the space
Changing venues or abstaining
Looking for its lawful place,
Icy darkness overwhelming...
